Drakes,
Your best bet would be to search on ScotlandsPeople at:
http://scotlandspeople.gov.uk/It is a paying site and the minimum fee is 6 pounds (for 30 credits). You can search there for deaths up to 1953, and can also search the 1891 and 1901 censuses. Deaths of married women are indexed under their married name and (if known) maiden name.
It should not be too onerous a search. There is a free surname search on the home page. It reveals only 19 persons named RAMSDEN in the 1891 census and 34 named RAMSDEN in the 1901 census. RAMSDEN deaths between 1881 and 1930 (seemed a fair cut-off date!) total only 42. GREAVES deaths in the same period total 64; GRAVES (a possible spelling - probably best to use a wildcard in an actual search i.e. search for GR*AVES) total 75.
I have some credits and time remaining so, tempted by your puzzle, I did some searches (free) and downloaded 2 search results (only 2 credits).
It doesn't look too promising ...
I searched for *el*en Ramsden deaths - the only one was in 1909 and that is a Mary Ellen Ramsden, age 24.
There are no *el*en Ramsden entries in the 1891 census, and only one in the 1901 (a Helen Ramsden, age 26).
Perhaps Helen/Ellen re-married - in England or Scotland? Or changed her name? Or reverted to her maiden name?
You might wish to try some marriage searches on SP, and searches under her maiden name?
