Daniel GREENFIELD 1707-?? Cranley

Looking for any info about Daniel GREENFIELD and his ancestry. He was baptised 7 May 1707 at Cranley, son of Daniel GREENFIELD and Martha EVERED who were married 20 Feb 1699.

Daniel married first c1726 and had Daniel 1727-??, Ann 1729-1732, Thomas 1728-1791, Mary 1730-1730. Unfortunately first wife's name is unknown. She died after 1730 and before 1735

Daniel married second Sarah STREET, on 29 Oct 1735 at West Clandon. The marriage licence said she was a widow. She died 1743. Daniel and Sarah had Ann 1737-1802, and Mary 1739-1791.

Ann 1737-1802 is my ancestor. She married Edward CLARKE at Cranley 23 May 1763.

Family search has some info, but no mothers name in a lot of the baptisms.

It appears the corrrect burial for Ann is 15.1.1730 at Cranleigh

There are several Daniels buried in Cranleigh - the actual pr's might help -I  am working from burial index

The Daniel who married Martha was bapt 4 Feb 1676 in Rudgwick, Sussex, the son of Daniel Greenfield and Mary Hockley who married in Rudgwick in 1676.

Daniel jnr's 1st wife Ann was buried in Cranleigh on 15 Sep 1732 and shown as 'wife of Daniel'. 

There are several wills relating to this part of the Greenfield family and I have copies of  of them if you do not already have them.

Daniel's first wife was Sarah Vincent of Send, Surrey, daughter of Richard Vincent.  Her first husband was  Richard Street of West Clandon who died around 1735 in West Clandon leaving a will.    She married him on 12 May 1718 in Guildford St Mary and seems therefore to have lied about her age (30) in 1735 when she married again.
