Hi, can anyone give me info on parentage of Thomas Partridge b 1824 Thurleigh. On 1871 census wife is named Keziah possibly married 1848 in Bletsoe

I have looked at Thurleigh in 1851 but there are no "Partridges" as far as I can see (I only have the images, some of which aren't very good).

I've found in IGI via LDS, the following
Thomas m Keziah NORMAN  2 NOV 1848 at Bletsoe
Parents of Thomas, possibly Joseph & Elizabeth YOUNG m in Thurleigh FEB 1818
Joseph christened 1827 in Thurleigh
Thomas had a brother also named Joseph b 6 JUL 1828 Thurleigh

I believe both George & Charles to be brothers, both from the marriage of Thomas & Elizabeth, of Bletsoe. who had another son Richard, who is my gt-gt-grandfather.

Could you check out Joseph - I'd like to find his parentage - he may also be one of us

The Joseph I'm now after is the (possible) father of Thomas (who married Elizabeth YOUNG); this Joseph was christened 1827 at Thurleigh. 
I can't see him to be same Joseph as the son of Thomas & Elizabeth (WHITE) of Bletsoe, as he was christened in 1797.

The Thomas & Elizabeth dynasty, of Bletsoe, as you listed, contains both the George & Charles, that you mentioned from 1851 census, plus my gt-gt-granfather Richard.

Sorry if your confused, but there's a great 'covey' of Partridges in North Beds.

According to IGI, there' a Thomas christened Thurleigh 25 JAN 1823 with parents named as HUGH PARTRIDGE & Elizabeth

There's also a christening at Thurleigh of WILLIAM  25 JUL 1819, again to same parents HUGH & ELIZABETH.

Anyone got info of this HUGH & his family from PR

note sometimes the surname is misspelt PATRIDGE or PARTIGTE
