American Servicemen - Completed thank you
« on: Thursday 27 January 11 05:42 GMT (UK) »
Are there any lists of American Servicemen in England during WW2?

For his "Rank or Profession" on his 1944 London marriage certificate this chap said he was "Lieutenant U.S.A."

Does this mean USA (United States of America) or (United States Army/Airforce) or something else?

Thanks to any help.

Thanks very much.

I have since discovered a bit about this chap's life but still know nothing about his service.
