I quite like this family for the time being:

1851
HO107/2482 334 12 & 13
Llandyfriog, Cardiganshire
Cwrcoed

James Francis, head, 66, Farmer of 64 acres & Pensionier, b. Cardigan Bettws
Margret, wife, 46, b. Bronywin
Ann, dau, 18, b. Bettws
James, son, 17, b. do.
Mary, dau, 12, scholar, b. do.
David, son, 10, scholar, b. do.
Benjamin, son, 8, scholar, b. do.
Margaret, dau, 6, b. do.
Thomas, son, 4, b. Llandyfriog
Mary Jones, 'nice', 13, b. Carmarthen (can't read)
+ 2 servants

By 1861, the family seem to be at Aberdare - Margaret not at home though

1861
RG9/4065 32 57
Aberdare, Glamorgan
38 Robt Place

James Francis, head, 76, 'Pinsioner', b. Carmarthen New Castle
Margret, wife, 56, b. do.
David, son, 20, Collier, b. do.
Benjamin, son, 18, Collier, b. do.
Thomas, son, 14, Collier, b. do.

Bettws Evan, Cardiganshire

James Francis, 55, Pensioner
Margaret, 40
Ann, 10
James, 8
Mary, 3

All born in county
