One dear ancestor ~ a real character of ours, had 5 children out of wedlock 1820-30's, actually she just didn't bother marrying, no Orders survive even through it is very lightly that a Pembroke Member of Parliment at the time may well have been one of the reputed father's.
As stated previous L.T.A.'s circa 1785 to circa 1833 period is dependent on which years survive for the parish and apportionments circa 1837-42 dependent on what year the Tythe Map was composed, are about the best for the land.
If you can I suugest you obtain a copy of Village Records by John West ISBN 0 85033 444 6 published by Phillimore & Co. I have been using my copy since 1982 and still remains a source for research ideas.
Crunwere, has probably forgotten more than I shall ever know on this area of S.E. Pembs so will always bow to her knowledge on the area.

Have looked at Amroth entry in 'Place Names of Pembrokeshire' by B.D.Charles and there is no mention of a 'Nathanial' anything - be it field name or lost name.
Doesn't mean it didn't exist - but not shown here.
Would try the Tithe Award which should have all field names lsited.

It may have formed part of the Earwere Estate which housed Earwere Mansion (name changed to Amroth Castle after it was given castellations by James Ackland). I spotted it in a book 'A Brief History of Amroth' . I will ask about the Tithe award when I go to Haverfordwest, though.  Thanks a lot.

Looks like my 'Amroth' book out on loan somewhere - probably the last I'll see of it!

Anyhow I would imagine the story of Nathaniel's Meadow will probably be like one locally which I came across when collecting field names in our village - told a certain one was called 'Hell & Jenks' - later on when going through censuses found someone had lived nearby who was called Ellen Jenkins!

With Nathaniel being born in 1818 he would just be coming to adulthood in 1840s so if he owned land it might not be until after the 1840s Tithe Award.

I see - well I'll see what PRO have in the way of records for that area in 1818.
