Marriage Extraordinary

Hello

While searching newspapers I came across this wedding announcement from Tuam Herald , Jan 1846.  Had a good laugh not only at the age of the bride and groom, but the fact she could sling him over her back and carry him across the river to avoid the crowds   :D
