Milward, Charles Atkinson-which branch
« on: Sunday 13 February 11 20:29 GMT (UK) »
Charles Atkinson Milward was a private, service number 290164,and seved with the 17th Bn., The Welsh Regiment, attached to RNVR "Drake" Battalion,R.N. Division.
He died in the Great War 28th May 1918 and lies in the Mesnil Communal Cemetry extension,France, plot 11 Row EE,Grave 18 in the Somme.
Is he related to the Swansea Thomas Milwards ?
I would like to know more about this brave warrior and find out which branch of the William Milwards of Cardiff he belonged to.
I am hoping  that there is a connect with other research being carried out by members.
Any assistance is gratefully received.
Tank you !

Goodness momo22, John Charles Milward is the much younger brother of my Gt.Grandfather, Thomas Milward ,8 years my Gt.Grandfather's junior.
Thank you. That is giving me some good new direction.
