I've checked the marriage registers for Chirk and Llangollen  and there's nothing promising.  Oswestry is on the IGI and I don't see anything there either.

Other possibles - Selattyn, Llansanffraid Glyn Ceiriog. I don't have access to these beyong 1812.

Hello William lovely to hear from you
Margaret's children's names were Mary 1832, William 1831, Elizabeth 1826 and Edward (my fathers great grandfather) 1837. I did note the information on Ancestry was transcribed with different spellings to the original.  Edward Married Emelia she was born 1847-they had Moses my fathers Grandfather :) Yvonne

I did find another Edward Morris connected to Selattyn but his mother was Sarah.  I also found a little info on a Margaret Morris in the area who faced trial for larceny when she was 19, she was cleared :D.  I am figuring everyone left home to work, moved and /or married between the 1841 and 1871 census.
Thank-you so much my father has lost his history (at 80 he is quite interested to find out where he came from as his father died when he was 14), all he says is his family came from Wales.
Thank you again
