My Great Grand Father Frederick James Flint Was born c1838
The 1st record I have of him is his marriage on 7/10/1867 to Hester Gilks in Wycombe she was from Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire and he was resident in Wycombe but no address given he says his father was John Flint a Farmer.
I can trace him on the 1871, 1881 census and it says he was born in Bobbing/Borden Kent by 1881 he is using the name James as his son was also called Frederick. His occupation Mill Wright/Engineer
He disappears in 1891 and Hester his wife says her husband had deserted her. Where did he go?
He reappears in 1901 and 1911 and died in Wycombe on 30/4/1923
But where has he come from???
I am now pulling my hair out I cannot find any record of him or his father before he got married why?
