All Saints, Swallowfield
« on: Saturday 19 February 11 20:00 GMT (UK) »
I am researching my family history and believe that a number of my relatives had associations with All Saints Church, Swallowfield.

Family names are Bray, Barker, Hunter.(1730- 1830 ish)

I wondered if you could advise me on where to locate the parish records so I can research further. I came to the church today and looked around the graveyard but found nothing. I would expect most of the inscriptions to have faded anyway.
Many thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer

The Records for Swallowfield and Finchhampstead are in the Berkshire Record Office, they have not been transcribed...yet !

The Hurst ones have been transcribed by Berkshire FHS on CD and can be purchased from them

Swallowfield PRs are available on a CD from Berks FHS. A fair chunk of Finchampstead PRs are available on the IGI and the Berks Burial Index.  Hurst is, as mentioned, available on CD and online.
