Does anyone have data they would care to share on John Chapple Circa 1741, possibly from Sennen.  possibly he married a Mary Richards.

Regards

Hi HSU,

Just wondering where this information has come  from. Sennen Records are online and I don't see John Listed.

http://sennenopc.vingoe.name/

What do you know of John?

There is a marriage listed for John CHAPLE = Mary RICHARDS 31 Mar 1779 St Just in Penwith

Cheers Kris  :)

Hi Kris,

Thanks for your input.  Not sure where I got the Sennen link info from but it looks erroneous and St Just looks more probable.  I know nothing of John, other than a possible marriage to Mary Richards that produced Children that linked to my forebears.  I will keep digging.

Thanks again,

Dennis

Hi Kris,

FYI, I have found a John Chapel 1740 in St J,  Father John.  Looks promising.

Hi Kris,

I have found in St J, John Chappel who married Jane Nicholl in 1667 and produced 4 sons, John, David, Nicholas and Jonathan.

I cannot follow John, so maybe he died, but I have got marriages for the other 3.

Amongst various children, David had a John in 1705 and Jonathan had a John in 1714.

Then I find marriages for John Chapel in 1736 and 1739 and I assume these are Johns 1705 and 1714?   Any ideas on how I find which is which?

From these 2 marriages, there are various children but only 1 John, 21 Mar 1740.  Problem is only Father (John) is given, no Mother named.  So again which John, 1705 or 1714, is the Father?  Any ideas?
