Hello Eileen,

There was a Clara Kidwell born in Trenton. New Jersey - 13 Feb 1885. Parents Fred Kidwell and Abbie Vaston both born England  ???  Could be worth a look.

and a Herbert Kidwell to Frederick Kidwell and Alice Parton

On the same site, there's a Herbert Kidwell born 6 Feb. 1886 to the same parents in New Jersey.

The 1895 New Jersey state census has a Frederick Kidwell living in Trenton with Herbert & Hannah Kidwell.  It's hard to read, but they may be his parents.

Apparently, Frederick Kidwell of 93 Klagg St., Trenton, New Jersey died on 24 Jul. 1920 at sea.  His widow was listed as Alice Kidwell.

Alice appears to be still marked as married on the 1901. There is a Frederick Kidwell and Sarah in New Brighton Ward 3, Beaver, Pennsylvania on the 1900. Frederick born Jan 1862 England and Sarah March 1856 England - married for 4 years. Looks like the same couple together in 1910 Philadelphia Ward 25, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - says they immigrated 1890. By 1920 in Trenton Ward 8, Mercer, New Jersey which gives the innigration as 1894.

Can see a Philadelphia Passenger List for a Frederick Kidwell 1st June 1885 on the Lord Gough. (The marriage was in Q2 which included June 1885) No sign of Alice though.
There is a New York Passenger List for an Alice Kidwell on the AA Aurania arriving New York 14 Sept 1885.
