This is getting a bit long winded sorry
I thought it might .
Fred or Fredrick Kidwell died at sea 1920 while coming home to Staffordshire ,
I cannot see that they would have put him on a return passage
so , because I believe the GRO papers for his death on board are losted
I wondered if any mention in a paper or anything might crop up, his trip was to Hanley ,

In 'GRO Marine Deaths Indices (1903-1965) 1920-1920' there is a
Kidwell, Fred age 59 - name of vessel Kaiserin Auguste Victoria (not sure if 'Victoria' belongs or is for the next line down) page 155

Tthis ship was used in 1920 for the repatriation of American servicemen after WW1.
