Hello,

I am trying to locate more information on a John Upton who married Sarah Pettit 31Jul 1770 St Mildred, Canterbury, Kent.  Trying to find a date/location of birth and parents.  If I have the right people for my line, it appears he and Sarah moved to Biddenden, Kent somewhere between their marriage and 1771.

Any assistance very much appreciated.

Found this entry in the Canterbury marriage licences

John UPTON of St Paul Canterbury, widower & Eliz SMITH of the same spinster, at St Paul, 21st December 1771

Either a different John UPTON or he married 3 times  ::)
