Church Langton Marriage 1736
« on: Monday 28 February 11 19:06 GMT (UK) »
I don't have many Leicestershire ancestors - but occasionally one nips up from Northamptonshire to marry etc.

Benjamin WEST didn't have to go very far though, he lived in Little Bowden.
I have found his second marriage in microfilm of the Church Langton Bishops Transcipts. But the last name and residence of the bride are unclear.
Benjamin WEST of Bowden to Elizabeth HUNT? of Welham?
20th April 1736

I would appreciate a lookup in the parish register of Church Langton to see if things can be clarified.

Thanks Slaw, found it. I was putting in too much info.

I had thought it would be a patron submission, now I see it is part of the indexing programme.

It is strange as Knossington is quite far away from Church Langton.

More than ever I want to see what the parish record says!

Thanks again
