Hi, does any one know of a Thomas Bryant born 1844 in Bermondsey, parents were Mary And William. He may have married under the name Thomas Bryant Williams to A Jane Reid, formerly Selby

(His father was William Thomas Williams-not sure about mothers name)

Suggest 2 different persons.
Note: Thomas Bryant Williams married Jane READ formerley Selby in1865. She first married Charles Read in 1862

Hi John, thanks for your help on Thomas Bryant. I have a look at the Thomas in devon and he seems to have died in 1868 in south molton. The thomas im looking at who married Jane Selby Died in New Zealand in 1911, thanks for looking at it ,much appreciated

Not sure if Im at cross purposes here.

Thomas Bryant Williams bachelor, labourer married Jane READ widow 16.12.1865 St Luke's Chelsea. His age 21(=c1844) her age 26 (=c1839). Thomas's father William Thomas Williams-Labourer,Jane's father Samuel Selby-Tailor. Address for both 4 Stewart's Grove. They appear to have had a son baptised 27.10.1867 at St Lukes, Chelsea Kensington-his name William Thomas Williams. As you rightly pointed out Thomas Bryant Williams appears to be both born and died in Devon.
What were the death ages and any other details from death certs in New Zealand.

Hi John , your on the same track as me. i suspect the Williams In Thomas Bryant Williams was added for some reason, he may have been up to some mischief.I have track this family to New Zealand and the family goes under the name Bryant there.
from what Ive found Jane had 1 child with her first husband Charles, his name was Samuel.With Thomas they had a Daughter ( Ada Louise 1869-1929 )who died in NZ.   Joseph 1871 to 1897 who also died in NZ.  And Robert Hydaspes Bryant born 1876 In NZ.Thomas and Jane both died in NZ , Thomas 1911 and Jane 1902. Thomas death cert in NZ gives no indication to his parents only he was born in London.
