Where is Banitol
« on: Monday 14 March 11 11:34 GMT (UK) »
I have a record for a Robert Leitch born in "Banitol" Co Tyrone to Robert & Martha Leitch on 25/12/1804. The family later settled at Argory Co Donegal (near Lifford). I can't find "Banitol" in any list of townlands or localities. Any suggestions?

Ballintrain??

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Possible, but it seems a bit far away from Lifford where I think the family was based.
