The first record I can find is 1902
Israel Cornwell Bilton married Mary Jane Clarke at St Cross, Appleton Thorn,Warrington C1/1/30
on www.cheshirebmd.org.uk
on freebmd it is registered Runcorn
he was born in Newmarket jun qtr 1871
died jun qtr 1939 aged 68 in Runcorn

Thanks Allan,I thought you were going to give the marriage of a Thomas Bilton to a Charlotte Clark(e) in 1865 in the Prescot District of Lancashire!

Just another thought Allan as you mention the local bmd,there appear to be marriages in this Prescot District at least during the years 1865-1873 that are not given on the UKBMD Website.

Sorry Bill...I only looked for Runcorn ...Prescot covered the likes of Woolton at that time and that is now Liverpool...so they would come under Lancashire....I was only checking Cheshire....good luck
