Was Coote her maiden or married name?
Freebmd doesn't have any births for a Matilda Coote in Lincolnshire, but there are some for other counties.

Coote was her maiden name  b approx 1851 think she married John Daft

I have had no luck locating Matilda b Lincs, with or without a father James on the 1861 census. I did find a Matilda with father Richard b 1851 and living Yorkshire...  :-\ (This one is a servant in 1871 lving Yorkshire)

It looks like your Matilda is a servant, born "Old Leake" in 1871 living Boston.
