I have two differenet certs;one from  the 1860's and one from early 1900's that state place Main Street, Dungarvan. When I search the census, that address  doesn't appear. Is there another name for Main street in Dungarvan?

Main street seems to be the old name for what is now Parnell Street - see the OSI Map of the the street : Main Street, Dungarvan

Switch between the modern map and the historic 6" map to see the old vs the old name. The 6" maps date from the 1820s/1840s. The street is named Parnell street on the slightly later 25" maps - c1890.

Not sure about Dungarvan but a local village here in Co. Londonderry lists inhabitants of Main St. in 1911 census but there's no 'Main Street' in the 1901 census- they're listed just under the townland (Garvagh). Perhaps the same thing happened in Dungarvan?
