« on: Friday 25 March 11 22:00 GMT (UK) »
Here's the second photo of the three I have. This is dated 1894 on the back.  Could I have it cleaned and tidied please?

Thank you in advance.

This is a very remarkable photo...don't think I've ever seen such a group of well-dressed girls. They look very well-to-do. Amazing dresses. And 1894 looks right on for the date. Wonderful picture :)

That’s a pretty glum looking group.  They must have just been told the results of the final exam in chemistry.

Thank you Ma cara, Tony and Pels for your wonderful work on this photo.

Ruskie, my ancestor is the little girl kneeling in the front, second from the right.

China, it's the same private school for young ladies as pic 1 and obviously their parents had money. Thanks for confirming this date. Pic 1 date is a bit confusing

Erato, don't think they were old enough for chemistry yet but I agree that most of them are rather glum looking - seeemed to be the style of the times - no smiles please!
