1901 census for John Husselbee and Jane
« on: Saturday 26 March 11 13:41 GMT (UK) »
I am looking  for the 1901 record of John Husselbee b c 1852, a gas fitter , and his wife Jane b c 1848 in Willenhall.

In the 1911 census they are living with James BRadley and his wife Elizabth in Wellington Place Willenhall.

I would appreciate any help.

Many thanks

Graham

was John born Tottenhall and Jane in Camden, Worcs ?

If so they are in Heath Parish in 1901 - Moseley Village.

I think it must be although Jane is said to have been born in Willenhall in the 1911 census. The ages match well although Jane is said to have been born in Willenhall in the 1911 census.

Is John in the 1891 census? I think he would be without Jane as they are said to have been married 14 years in the 1911.

I cannot find any marriage either.

Many thanks

I can see George and Charlotte P Hollins together in 1891, so John must have married Phoebe.

There's a particularly awful spelling of HUSSELBEE on this possible death record:

Deaths Dec 1889
HUSSULBEY  Phoebe    aged 26
Dudley 6c 28

Checking on West Midlands BMD, the death was in Tipton, which is only about 3 miles from Bilston where Elizabeth and Kate were born - it's just that they come under different registration districts.
