James Watson and Ann Fulton

 I am following the families of Ann Fulton and James Watson of Kilwinning who emigrated to America and Margaret Fulton and William Frew who emigrated to South Australia. Ann and Margaret are believed to be daughters of William Fulton and Margaret Dickie of Kilwinning. Ann Watson died in 1889 and Margaret died in 1906. photo attached is Margaret Frew circa 1900

I have a lot of Fulton info. My gr grandmother was Mary Fulton sister of Ann and daughter of Margaret Dickie and William Fulton.

However I don`t have any Margaret in that family. Are you sure you are on the right track here.

Margaret Dickie and William Fulton had the following.

Wm. Fulton, b 1821 m. Barbara Reid 1843
Jean Fulton, b 1823 m. Samuel Bonner 1854
Isabella Fulton, b 1825 m Robert Kilpatrick 1844
Ann Fulton b 1828 m James Watson 1851
Mary Fulton b 1832 m George Craig m 1850


Ann Fulton and James Watson went to America and Isabella Fulton and James Kilpatrick went to Australia. Jean remained in Scotland. Mary Fulton Craig d. 1870 after the birth of her 10th child.

Just had a look at the Roots Web. ancestry where there is a Margaret b 1818 to William Fulton and Margaret Dickie. Have never come across her before but that`s not to say that info is incorrect. Must look in to this.
