BROUGH|S of Wyrley/Cheslyn Hay
« on: Thursday 31 March 11 15:14 BST (UK) »
Looking for any information on the family of Charles Brough (b 1860 Great Wyrley). He married Mary Ann Jellyman in 1890 and the couple had Lilly (1887-??), Thomas (1890-??), Wilfred (1893-1916), Anna Eliza (1899-??), Albert 1897-1978), Harold (1899-1965), Ethel (1904-??), Jess (1906-1912). The family lived in Cheslyn Hay and Little Bloxwich at various times. I am particularly interested at discover places of baptism and marriage and also where they are buried. Any help or advice would be most welcome.
Thanks

Darryl Nugent

I have n't really done any research on the brough family but fairly sure i have a good bit of info. I'll check on what i have if you want to exchange email i will do so via the personal message system. Also cheslyn hay society has a web site www.cheslynhay.info. It's only a fiver to join.  My dad came from great wyrley and so did quite a few rels and also some were from cheslyn hay. So ask away and i'll help if i can.

Thanks for the links, Westie and Boyscout. It seems like Cheslyn Hay is/was an "epicentre" for Jelleymans. I think I'll have to make a trip this summer.
