I have now dug out the addresses for Jessie Davies/Clinton.  She lived at the following addresses:-

1915 - 46 Queen Street, Ardwick

1919 - 53 Ardwick Green North, Manchester

1922-1926 - 61 Albion Street, Queens Road, Harpurhey

1939 - 39 Alton Street, Harpurhey

Jessie Clinton's mother's maiden name was Clayton.  Why do you ask Peter?

Just curious. Thought I'd take a look through the marriage index for any odd spellings or other weird things it could be registered under.

Hi, there is no Davies or Clinton show at this address on the 1918 absent voters list
