Uncensored Letters from the Dardanelles
« on: Tuesday 05 April 11 14:46 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know anything  of the above book?  A neighbour of my mother's has a copy and has given it to me to find a home.

I have googled it and there seems to be some around, although one was selling for 125 Uk pounds!  It would be nice if it went to someone in the family of the author.  It is an original, published 1916.

She also has 2 books on the History of Devonshire Vol 1 & 2, published 1829!

The Dardenelles book doesn't seem to mention the author on the copy I have (altho I haven't read it), but the web says it was written by Joseph Marguerite Jean Vassal.   It is a book of letters from a French doctor during the war to his English wife.
