Well done, everyone!

I'm amazed at the amount of research that has been done by all the teams and the depth of knowledge that has been teased out of various sources to build up a picture of William DEVINE.

While I personally suspected that he never married or had children, to find that I was incorrect about the former and that William married in Australia was quite a surprise.

CONGRATULATIONS everyone!  ;D

I think all teams deserve a chocolate fish. Enjoy.

Oooh Yummy! 8)   I was a tad disappointed that the Nat Library didn't have the August 1919 newspaper and had to order the microfiche in and would get back to me in a couple of weeks, the Death Cert had to be purchased to confirm the marriage, parents and issue and if it was the right person. :D

It was a toughie but we got there, well done everyone.

Cheers

Edited:  Even contacted the council, the Sexton came back, with the response that there were no records of William Devine
