Lake Marriage 1550s
« on: Sunday 10 April 11 14:46 BST (UK) »
Hello, I'm at my wits end with this one. If anyone wouldn't mind searching for a marriage between William Lake and Alice in the 1550s/60s then I'd be very grateful.

It is likely to either be in Essex or Lincolnshire - sorry I can't narrow it down more.

Regards,
Ryan  :)

Hi Radcliff, it could well be, but at the moment I only have William's will as a resource. From this I have gathered that they had children named Thomas, Richard, Marie, Audrey Elizabeth and a wife called Alice but no Alice as a child. Of course, they could have had her and she died in infancy and is obviously not mentioned in his will....
