I have found Samuel Mitchell married Jane Elliott in Galloon, Clogher in Feb 1815
Samuel was from Longwill Co Tyrone, Jane from Drumy, any ideas where they are? I cannot find the townlands.
I am trying to trace the family of my 2x gt granda James Mitchell born around 1835 in Fermanagh. He married in Glasgow in 1855 and on the certificate he gave his parents as Samuel Mitchell and Jane Elliot. He was married in the church of Scotland.
Is James in your tree? or can anyone please tell me where I can research the Irish side of my family.
