Burials in Crowle COMPLETED.
« on: Tuesday 12 April 11 05:43 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone, I am looking for the burial place of a Henry Stanniforth and his wife Sarah. They were married in Crowle, Henry was born in Crowle. Is it possible to look up some sort of burial index for the Cemetery.
Thanks for looking at this.

Almost forgot Henry christened 1707 and they were married 1744

Hi ibella,

There is a Crowle in Lincolnshire but not in Lancashire - is that where you meant to post?  If so, I'll move it for you, just let me know.

Jean

Yes please, I really though it was Lancashire. I wonder why?
Thank you

Although no date of birth or at death is given this could be your man

Please do not take the above record as being primary evidence. After searching for a burial of Sarah it looks as if the name Stanniforth/Staniforth was fairly common in Crowle, there are in fact 5 Sarahs buried there after 1744. The Henry I found could even be a son of your couple.

Thank you Alan. Working with the age there will give me a starting point to look for a death certificate.
Thank you so much for your help.
