I see a Jospeh Mee who married Bridget Green 18 Sept 1802 according to Pallots Marriage Index. That was at Quorndon. May have been his grandparents.
After that he is not easy to find. There is a Joseph of about the right age at Coleorton in the 1871 census but he claims to have been born at Ibstock and that is about 10 miles from Quorndon. ???
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.
