My Gt.Gt.Granfather was timothy rock born Roscommon about 1821.He died in Liverpool in a workhouse in Dec 1881.I know of one daughter called Mary who married a Thomas Oneil in Saint Marys Kirkdale  liverpool on the 4th of May 1880.I can find no records about Marys birth or any records regarding Timothy Rock.I remember as a child my grandmother telling me that her father came from county Mayo from a place called Coolshay knock,I have searched for this place and sadly I dont think it exists.I

I am looking to find my Gt Gt grandfathers birth in Roscommon in 1821 or therabouts,He died in a Liverpool workhouse in December 1881.His daughter was my Gt.Grandmother she married a Thomas Oneil in Liverpool Kikdale on the 4th May 1880.Ican find no record of her birth think she was born about 1856 possibly in Ireland.Also am stuck trying to find a marriage for Timothy rock here in Lancashire or Ireland.Would much appreciate any help anyone can give me,Regards Camob.....

Your Cool shay knock I think is Kiltimagh which is pronounced as Quiltsha mock.Its a small town in Mayo.
