« on: Tuesday 26 April 11 01:10 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm looking for information on my 4th great grand parents, Names are John O'Neil don't know where he was born or when and he married Mary again l have no surname or any dates. They had at least one son named Michael O'Neil born 1789 and married Ellen Henry.
They had 5 Children all born in Tipperary and all came out to Australia, Except for Ellen
So one l would like to find out Mary's Surname, 2nd find out what happened to Ellen Henry, and at what year that Michael & Ellen Married, l do know Michael came out to Australia and died in 1859 at Ballarat Victoria. Can anyone help me with any of this, thanks

John and Mary's marriage and birth of the children were all well before the start full Civil registration in 1864, so you would need to check what parish records might be available for their parish to locate details for them. To do this you need to know the family religion and where they married and lived..

Only a small number of parishes have records back as far the 1700s
