Hi  the info that i have is that they had 3 sons john james who i believe was married to a winfred burns. james died in july 2001, then there is my gran father thomas francis who was born on the 29 nov 1911 @ 16 garnet st in belfast.  On my g/fathers birth certificate it states that my g/gran father was a labourer.  I am also lead to believe that afther my g/gran parents died they where taken in by the salvation army because they had an aunt who worked for them. and thats about all i know .     jim

Jim,
The fathers of John and Elizabeth were Thomas Kane and James O'Donnell. There were too many John Kanes whose father was Thomas to do any speculation. Howeverthere were only two Elizabeth O'Donnels whose father was James, one born in 1834 and one in 1887. I have found a marriage of a James O'Donnell to Mary McLean on 10 Apr 1887 in Belfast (Urban 6) R.C.Church which looks interesting.
If you want details of the sites I will send them by the Personal Message system.
