Names of parents of Caleb Emerson

Iam tracing the parents of Caleb Emerson he was born 1787-1789 place unknown married in 1818 in scotland and was buried on 26 11 1828 Everton Liverpool England he is in the same grave as two sons but as yet I still have not found his parents or place of birth. I only found out his resting place earlier this year and have been looking for him for about 25 years He was a Surgeon in Royal Navy, also in Ireland and Liverpool
and he was appointed' to the ship "Driver' in Leith on 21st Feb 1816

any help would be really appreciated as I have come to a brick wall once again I live in Australia any visiting sites are extremely difficult

this would suggest to me that Caleb - who married in 1818 ? didn`t come to Liverpool until 1825 ish, otherwise the other son would have been listed at St Nicholas church.....also...maybe he died at Hunter Street, as he would have been 40 at the time of Wellingtons birth...let me see if I can find the marriage for you

so we know Elizabeth was from Stranraer .....where the ferry to Northern Ireland is based...do you think Caleb might be Northern Irish ??

My great great grandfather Caleb Emerson came to Australia in 1846 married twice and had 10 children (two not making it through infancy) This Caleb was born in 1821 in Dublin Ireland apparently he was the second son of Caleb and Elizabeth the oldest being Michael whom was born in Scotland in 1818 Caleb also had another brother Alexander born in scotland in 1825 Aledxander migrated to Canada married and had one child that I found called Welington b 1860 d 1861  Elizabeth was the 4th child and Wellington was the fifth
