Looking for CASEY. IRELAND to SCOTLAND.

Hi,
I am looking for my Grandmothers birth. I thought she was born in Scotland, But now I am told it may be Ireland!! :o

Her name is CATHERINE CASEY b 1891, Father JOHN CASEY, BRASSMOULDER.
Mother AGNES CASEY (Young)
They lived in Lanarkshire,Scotland
She married ROBERT WILSON in New York 18th June 1920? on a visit to see Roberts Brother,Alexander & wife Vera.
Then went back to Scotland to live in Glasgow.
Can anyone help please?

Hi,

You should look for her birth in Ireland in the Irish birth indexes. These are available at your local family history centre on film

Cheers Kate, I think she may have been born in Scotland now as her father was born & married in scotland!
I have looked for her birth on scotlandspeople but nothing??? ???
