Ware 1841 census lookup please
« on: Tuesday 26 April 05 08:36 BST (UK) »
Hi I'm back again,

Would someone be able to look in the 1841 census for Ware/Wareside for a family with the surname Josolyne.  (Anyone with that surname will do as it's a very unusual spelling).  First names include: Thomas M. b.1803, Mary Ann, Walter Sims b.1832, Edward Thomas b.1834, William Frances and there could be more.

Many thanks

Ann :)

Hi,

Thank you very much for the info.  Does the 1841 census also give an address?

Thanks again

Ann

Walter      9
Edward     7
William      2 months  (all b Herts except for Mary)

P.S.
Just a bit more info that might be useful:

Re the address- it only said "School...( house?)"
but wasn't in the town of Ware itself.

The introductory part said:
"All that part of the Parish of Ware East of the Town from Wydbury Hill to Wydford Mill including Wareside and Blenham and Blakes Ware".
The school was right at the end, after Blakes Ware.
Hope it helps!
