Charles Devlin born 1884 Tullagh, Co Donegal
« on: Sunday 15 May 11 20:04 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help please.

Charles C  Devlin born 1884, Tullagh, Clonmany, Co. Donegal.  He sponsered his brother George C Devlin born 23 May 1885 in to Boston - brother arrived on the Pretorian 24 Aug 1914.  Therefore Charles must have been in Boston prior to Aug 1914.

Charles's father was also Charles.  Can anyone please help find Charles on passenger list/census.  Apparently Charles was sponsered into Boston by his uncle John Devlin.  Any info passenger lists, census etc.  would be great.  Thank you.

Small snippet to start  ;) On the US Passport appication for George Devlin 31 st July 1922 , it says Charles had known him for 10 years and the address he gives on that is 189 Blackstone Street. (which I presume was Boston) Although the address on the passenger list was slightly different - 570 East Second Street. S.Boston.

Finding all my family slowly but surely but lost this one.

George C Devlin born 23 May 1885  arrived on the Pretorian 24 Aug 1914 to Boston.  Found his arrival and with his brother Charles on 1920 Boston census.  Can anyone find him please on 1930 census.  I am told that he married a BURKE from Mayo ?  Both now deceased.  cant find a marriage.

I note there is a 1922 passport application for him, is there a link to that please.

Hi Triathlon,

If you would like to send me a personal message with your e-mail address, can forward for you. Only appears to have half a picture of him though.
