Solomon married 16/2/1845 Anne Nendon. Any help over Anne and her family in particular would be very helpful.   Thanks  Mark

Hi,

FreeBMD has the marriage as Solomon Smart and Anne Benden in the Williton registration district, which is in Somerset.   Stringston is in the Williton registration district.

Did Anne come from Dorset?

From the 1851 census on Ann is born Nettlecombe Somerset, Medelcombe? and in 1901 she says Stringstone the same as Soloman, but always Somerset.
I can't find an Ann *end*n born Somerset in the 1841 census as yet.
