Hi!

In case you didn't realise Annie Milliner or Milner as it sometimes says was my g.g. grandmother.  Albert Henry Milliner, born 18.2.1884 was one of her sons.  One of her other children was William Robert my g. grandfather.  Your Aunt Annie is probably Annie and Alberts oldest daughter born 1867 in Avening.

I have the following infro' on Annie Wright/Gardner sent by someone else!  We have her as Annie Wright b.1840 (also known as Mary Ann Wright)  father Charles William Wright b.1800 Painswick - her fathers name is the name on her wedding certificate as a witness  We have 2 possible names for her mother Elizabeth Symonds b 1819 Painswick and Mary Walker b1825 St. Michaels Bristol.  If you do send for the certificate , please do let me know what it says

Dorothy is certainly a mystery!  Will keep in touch if I find anything!

Regards
Nicola

Annie was my husbands G G Grandmother too. I met Dorothy before she died in the seventies. We have always known she was illegitimate not that it matters.these days.
Are you sure about Ann Wright i have her in Bisley on 1841 census father Charles mother Ann it looks and feels right?

Hi

So which of Annie's children is your husband descended from?

RE: Anne Wright - not sure about mother this is only infro we have been given by someone else, so you are probably right.  Will have a look at census' tomorrow.
