The Press is on our radar, but we don't have immediate plans (in the next 12 months) to add it to the site.  In this instance the quality of the microfilm we hold for that particular title is quite poor, so we need to explore alternative paths for acquiring better images of the paper.  I will, however, take note of your interest in see this in Papers Past.

Hi Chelsea

Thanks for the update, I am wondering when or if  "The Oamaru Mail"
may come on Papers Past.

Yes, thanks so very much for the update.

Was looking forward to having the Evening Post records up to 1945  - so will have to wait patiently a little longer, as our family was Wellington based for most of our history in NZ

Thanks John - the Papers Past team here at the National Library are thrilled to hear that people are finding the site so useful.  I'll do my best to post updates on Rootschat when we have more information to share.

And as always if any of you have questions, comments or suggestions for the site, we're always happy to hear them.  I monitor this forum thread so feel free to post them here or email me on digital-services@natlib.govt.nz.   ::)

Good morning Chelsea -  that is most helpful.

I have found a mountain of information about my ancestors from the pages of Papers Past.

Keep up the good work and we look forward to the new additions in July.

Once again - many many thanks

Don L

PS -  the search facility appears to be much better than that of your compatriots over the ditch. Their OCR system is hopeless!!
