1841 census lookup: Oldwall (Rickerby)

Hi,

Could some kind person look for Isabella Rickerby and her young son Joseph on the 1841 census at Oldwall? Joseph was born at Oldwall in 1838, so with a bit of luck they were still there in 1841. Hopefully, Joseph's father, Joseph Lamonby, would have been somewhere nearby as well. Oldwall is a hamlet about 1 mile to the west of Irthington.

Hi Paul,
Sorry can't find them in either Oldwall or Irthington. I've seen your post for the 1851 look up so i widened the search a little, I've looked in Burtholme, Waterhead, Kingwater, Askerton, Irthington, Newby, Laversdale, Newtown and Brampton. Is there anywhere else I could try?

Hi Ange,

Thank you so much for trying to find them. I'm afraid I don't have anywhere else worth suggesting. After the 1841 census the next location I have for Joseph was at Low Ling, Rosley, near Wigton, twenty years later on the 1861 census. I suspect his mother, Isabella, came from the Burgh area, and I suppose she might have returned there by the time of the 1841 census.
