Dolans from Ballinglera
« on: Saturday 04 June 11 20:21 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for any info on a Lawrence (Laurence) and Ellen Dolan that came from Ballinglera (spelling) County Letrim around 1850, who's son Charles lived in Worcester Massachusetts. Thanks, Steve

Steve,
There is website,Ballinaglera.com.
On it  is a  section Dolan Family History ----- Dolans in East Lothian & Ireland,Ballinaglera ,Co.Leitrim.(page 10)
A website is mentioned where the name can be researched  either as a paid or free member. Some restrictions apply to the latter.

The name is not common in Ballinaglera.
In 1901 census there were only 2 families.
Patrick, age 68 & his family in Cornamucklagh South.
John, age 60 & family in Sranagarvanagh, in this family is a Charles, age 19.
Hopefully you will connect with others there.  Maura

When you log on to Ballinaglera.com scroll down to bottom of page from there go to page 10.
About no. 13 down on that page is the heading I mentioned.
Hope it works out this time around.
Its not possible to email it or possibly to print it either.
