looking for any info on john born county mayo 1836 he married a margaret boyle from mayo i think they were married in ireland they ame to england kidderminster area had their first child in 1859
i am longing to trace my greatgrandfathers origin can anyone help

i am no further forward in searching my greatgrandfather john flatley
he lived in kidderminster in worcestershire
no luck with finding a marriage cert or birth cert.
i am really longing to trace his origins but i am not sure where i can try next.
i know little of him born county mayo in 1836.
after a visit to dublin which proved neg result.
he had his first child in 1859 in kidderminster ,but not sure when he left ireland.
he is a catholic.
any help would be apprecated
i have tried south and north mayo site.
he worked on  his sisters farm in wolverhampton.

Do you know his wife's maiden name?  You could get the birth certificate of Bridget and that would tell you.

She may have been born 1859, but was registered 1860.

thankyou i know of the children and his wife is margaret boyle also from county mayo.
the birth cert won't have the place of birth for the father bridget was born in kidderminster
i have looked at east mayo before and i can see many john flatley jumping out at me on g v  but its not knowing which place in county mayo it is

Father's  initial's  J.F.
Mother    Initial    C.----

 They also have a Margaret Boyle Born 1859 Baptism
Father  Initial's F.B.
mother Initial   B G.
Now to look at these it will cost you three credits.  each They will tell you the parish and also the sponsors names.

thank you .i have found that info also, when i came back from dublin in july i wrote to the parish church of beckan, i was so disappointed i had no reply.
i was really hoping this john flatley could be my great grandfather i am looking for.
