Ann WINN
« on: Monday 06 June 11 14:15 BST (UK) »
I have obtained the death certificate dated 12th February 1845 for Ann who died in Ippollitts at the age of 22 from consumption. The informant was a Charlotte Sharp.
My Winn family were from Ippollitts but I have been unable to find Ann on censuses or a birth record to see where she fits in the family. Can anyone throw any light on the matter?

You'll need the parish registers for her birth - as it's pre-1837, and therefore pre-certificates.

I did, however, find this in 1841:

Reference HO107, Piece 445, Book/Folio 2/31,  Page 20
From Cross Keys, Hitchen, Herts

Bradley, Ann  F  70
Wynn, Ann  F  15      both born in county.

Bear in mind that, in the 1841 census, ages were rounded down.
So this Anne could have been any age from 15 to 19.
