Hi Gorgeous Ghirl
Have you checked for deaths on
www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
for Henry? I can't easily see one in Dunbartonshire (with or without the middle name of Murray) during the war years.

Clydebank Blitz was 1941 I can't see a Henry (or Harry) for Dunbartonshire for 1941 I'm afraid.

Might help us to help you if you post up what details you actually have from
confirmed data such as certificates and census returns
, and of course his relationship to other proven family members.

Thanks to everyone who has replied.
Since checking records we have traced he was living in Carnoustie Street, Glasgow in 1943, and was married to a Susan McCann, so therefore I now realise he hasn't been killed in the blitz.
