thomas norman weir  served in the Highland Light Infantry
In reserve 1931 ,be lived to have settled in Sussex His own county Durham has no information of him
D O B Sept 1905
Known to have married , when ?
Died  ?
He was my Mothers favorite cousin  any information would be most appreciated
Are  their any connections to him  in Sussex

There is someone looking for information on him on Genes Reunited; no more information on there than what is on this thread however they were looking in to obtaining his service records for more information (these would list address, next of kin, where he served, rank, etc)

Hi Toni, I believe that is another Thomas born in Durham 1905 the Thomas Norman, if he is the one who married in Sussex, was the one born in Auckland 1905 ?

The Thomas G N Weir married a Meakin in Durham Sept qtr 1947, so looks to have stayed in the area?

With the Sussex connection I just wonder if a badly written/transcribed "N" could account for this death:-
