James Mahoney, Abersychan
« on: Thursday 16 June 11 22:27 BST (UK) »
Hi I'm trying to trace the record of the marriage of my Great great grandfather James Mahoney who married a lady called Catherine Conway and lived in the Abersychan area and  probably married in the 1820 to 1830's. They had at least one son called Thomas who was ships stoker and moved to Port Glasgow in Scotland where he married a lady named Rose Wilson. We are told that the family had strong connection to the Swan Inn. I am anxious to trace anyone who can give me any knowledge of the marriage of james and Catherine as I cannot locate it on any database. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
