Birth date for Caroline SHANNON Completed

Hi,

I am hoping someone can tell me if Caroline Shannon was born in Victoria. Her parents were Agnes Vivian Penrose and Francis Murray Shannon. They married in Nagamble, Vic in 1879 and moved to Queensland in 1894. They had six children but I can only find the birth of Francis M Shannon b 1889 in NSW. I have no idea when Caroline was born but think it would be between 1880 and 1885.

Caroline Shannon married David James and they had four children the first born in 1902 so they would have married before this date but so far I have not been able to find a marriage for this couple in Queensland either. They lived in Mt Morgan all their life.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Her parents were Agnes Vivian Penrose and Francis Murray Shannon. They married in Nagamble, Vic in 1879

Place of marriage is Nagambie. Father Francis was born Ayrshire and mother Agnes at Ballarat.  There were five births to this couple at Nagambie, including Caroline, with the last birth in 1895.  Do you want the details.

You could allready be aware of this but it appears that  the Shannon family moved to Qld as early as 1902 as the Agnes Vivian Shannon appears on  the electoral rolls.

She is buried in the Mount Morgan cemetery so is Caroline James
